Senior Home Assistance was founded nearly 20 years ago by one man – with one caregiver – and a desire to make a genuine difference in the lives of the people Senior Home Assistance serves. Since then, Senior Home Assistance has become the largest locally owned senior home healthcare agency in East Tennessee and the leading source for in-home care for every community we service.
Senior Home Assistance has 160 employees who provide in-home care to senior citizens, those with physical disabilities and people recovering from injuries or surgery. In 2016, the company was purchased by Richard Willis, a former senior-level executive at Bandit Lites and a widely respected international businessman. Willis is focused on making Senior Home Assistance even better at providing world-class in home care while growing the Knoxville-based company.
A Special Kind of Care
The services of Senior Home Assistance are qualified under many long-term care insurance policies. The company works directly with insurance providers to make sure customers get the full benefit of their policy. Senior Home Assistance does not charge extra for weekends or holidays, requires no deposit or upfront fees, has no early cancellation policy and no service contract for customers to sign. The company is fully licensed and insured and many of its caregivers are Certified Nursing Assistants.
